Auxiliary lights for the unicycle

• The light shines both red and white.
• Rechargeable replaceable Li-ion battery: 18650 - very good runtime. You can of course swap the cell for an even better one. The batteries in headlamps tend to be quite basic, so swapping for a top cell is something I'd quite recommend.
• The batteries can be swapped = you can take a spare on a long (multi-day) trip, you can just swap cells at home, etc.
• Charging via USB-C or with an external charger for Li-ion cells.
• Recommended mode: permanent red light at minimum brightness = brighter than the unicycle's rear lights. The light also has other modes such as various flashing patterns. Permanent light is the best, though – you'll resemble a motorcycle or scooter moving faster than a cyclist. Flashing mode resembles a bicycle, so it's only suitable for riding at a normal cyclist's speed, and flashing is also more unpleasant for those around you.
• Please don't use the maximum red brightness, it's stronger than a car's fog light; I recommend using it only in very extreme weather conditions and in very dangerous situations.
• I recommend using the medium red brightness only in significantly worse weather conditions or dangerous situations.
• Of course, don't use the white light as a rear light.
• The recommended installation of the lights on a wheel such as the Veteran Sherman L, Sherman S, Lynx and similar machines is on the rear upper side of the wheel with hook-and-loop tape (or it can be glued permanently). Ideally tilt the lights to the side (an angle of 20° - 45°) so you're clearly visible from the side too, and so the strongest beam doesn't shine as much into the eyes of a driver or rider behind you.
• In an emergency the light can be used as a handheld torch.
• The light doesn't drain your unicycle or reduce its power.
• The light is quite water-resistant. TIP: For the most extreme water resistance, grease the threads with petroleum jelly ;-) (I can do this on request).

• The light mount is made of RoBoFlex, available in all colours. Thanks to RoBoFlex it lasts as long as the light itself (better not ask how I know).
• For attaching to the unicycle, most unicyclists use hook-and-loop tape, or it can be glued permanently.
• The light can't be removed from this mount = you can't put it in a head strap, and you can use it as a handheld light with our mount too.
• I recommend buying the light from me (my prices are unbeatable for Europe); a light you buy yourself may unfortunately look the same but have slightly different dimensions. If you do buy the light yourself, I strongly recommend sending me control measurements of it.
• There's also an older version of the mount from which the light can be removed and used as a headlamp. That version isn't as durable, so I don't recommend it. If interested: I'll tell you more by phone.

• Thanks to the diffuser the light is visible from a wider angle (from almost all sides).
• Because the diffuser is red, even if you accidentally turn on the white light instead of the red one, it will still shine red (with a pinkish tinge).
• The diffuser gently softens the brightest centre of the beam and scatters it to the sides.
• The diffuser is made of highly translucent (almost transparent) RoBoTitran.
